When Henrietta Wildsmith was five years old she asked her father to borrow the camera so she could take some photos of her friends. He gave her specific instructions to only take 5 photos (this was back in the day of film where there were only 24 shots per roll). Within minutes she had taken all the photos on the roll and had to return to her father knowing she was going to be in trouble. Since then she continues to take all the photos she can and still gets in trouble along the way. Finding her niche as a photojournalist, Henrietta considers it an honor to serve her community at The Times in Shreveport.
